Bloc Party

I Still Remember

Due to the great appreciation I have for this band, and especially for this new album, I present you the video for the I Still Remember song, and believe me I have every intend to do the same with the rest of the videos that will come out, no matter how good they are. In my opinion, this is the only song on this album that has the political replaced with the personal and I can only say that it is okay, though the lyrics are very strong. As far as the video is concerned - see for yourselfJ. It is by the directorial duo Aggressive, a.k.a. Dan Shapiro and Alex Topaller, who also directed Black Label Society's "Concrete Jungle" (Roadrunner Records), Hoobastank's "Born to Lead" (Island/Def Jam Records), and Lil Rob’s "Summer Nights" (Upstairs Records).

Fish Go Deep

The Cure and the Cause

Deep grooving house music with wonderful vocals and delayed synth stabs and pads slowly building in and out.
For real pleasure play the Dennis Ferrer remix, head down, eyes closed and feel the music.

Fresh: Grinderman

Considering Nick Cave the ultimate songwriter and his music a divine agony, little space is left for hesitation when it comes to his work particularly his new-fangled venture entitled Grinderman. Like Nick Cave, the other members are also from The Bad Seeds, Jim Sclavunos, Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and they have released their debut in March 2007 for Mute. The following and opening video is for the song “No Pussy Blues” and it exploits the subject of reproduction among animals as well as humans. Most music televisions will probably ban this video since it shows snakes rabbits, insects…..all in action.

Fresh: The Shins

The Shins new video for the song "Phantom Limb" is directed by Patrick Daughters and features a controversial school play. The song is from their new album "Wincing The Night Away" released on January 23rd 2007.Mercer, the band's singer, songwriter and guitarist, has been shaken up by the demands of their growth and success. While the indie rock world were celebrating his existence, he was going through hell. During that time Mercer began writing, "Wincing The Night Away," a more diverse amalgam of sounds than the band's previous lo-fi releases, with lyrics indicating a desire to be set free.
